Begin with a clean, fresh, bright backdrop and then have fun with color. Change the look at your whim. Change the colors with the season ... or *against* the season.
The 'KISS' philosophy
works in decorating, too. Or, at least, it works for me.
Yes: I could live here. It wouldn’t look nice, neat (and white) like this for very long, but
I’d have fun decorating and I love love love the space and light!
And, if truth be told, there is only one thing I would immediately change: those woven straw circle rugs outside and in the bedroom have gotta go. They may look pretty (which they do), but I'm a sock-wearing klutz and I'd be slipping flat on my keyster every time.
