I love the smell of Treasuries in the morning

Monday, February 23, 2009

Overnight, Etsy techs were working on some tech-ie stuff & I woke to find many of my listings re-set to -0- views. With over 550 items in this shop, to see so many with -0- views was just a bit disconcerting.

And I'll admit to loving those number-ie things because I've been known to be a bit O/C. You know ~ refreshing the Majaba page repeatedly.  Okay ... almost mind-numblingly. I find it is a wonderful way to keep from doing actual work.  Try it :)

But the loss of views was definitely made all better by finding my listings included in three beautiful Treasuries. mmmMMMmmm Treasury lovin' in the morning ~ ain't nothing better!

Thanks for the includes, BlackStar xo
... and to adorapop
... and to dafnadagan

It's always a kick to go to a shop which features me or includes one of my items in a Treasury ... What is their taste, their style? What brought them to my shop? ... was it the item itself, the background worked with their Treasury? ... my photography was so overwhelming beautiful that they *had* to include the item?

Okay ... scratch that last one.  Photography is one thing on which I honest & for truly need to work.  I'll do that today. Tend to the Post Office, make a good soup for dinner, work on photography.

Not overly ambitious.  I can do this :)

Three treasuries! Yee haw.
I do have to disagree with you about your photography. You take great pictures of your vintage items. They're hard to take good picture of. There's so much that we want or need to show and we only get 5 pictures.

You're so kind, Katie! xo If you only knew how I struggle.
