Summertime and Baseball

Are there any two things in our Land of the Free and Home of the Brave more seasonally synonymous than "Summer and Baseball"? 


Standing in the warm sun as the National Anthem plays, the breeze growing warmer,  the players taking the field, the umpire sweeping off home plate for the first time of many to come, the game readying ... what a perfectly lovely way to spend a summer afternoon.


And so with this quick note, it's time to fix the tea, get out the umbrella, grill a burger or dog or two, and get a good sunburn!
